Intrinsically safe industrial telephone TIG type

TIG-type intrinsically safe industrial telephones are designed for use in harsh environments, such as high humidity, noise, dust and explosion hazards. They are primarily intended for use in underground mine workings classified as explosion group I and in spaces classified as group IIC. TIG industrial telephones are used in intrinsically safe dispatch communication systems manufactured by TELVIS: SAT, UTI, PTI, LSTI-A, ITS.

Intrinsically safe industrial telephone functions:

  1. Establishing and conducting a telephone call in automatic traffic (CBa) 
  2. Direct calling of the telephonist via the AWIZO button 
  3. Direct calling of the plant dispatcher in normal or urgent mode using the DYSP button (yellow and red) 
  4. Programming of 10 telephone numbers dialled by a sequence of buttons: M and DIGIT 
  5. Repeating the last number dialled - using the R/P button 
  6. Programming of an extended pause (2.2s) between groups of digits when dialling using the R/P key (used when dialling the last number repeatedly)
  7. Generating a standardised loop break (Flash)
  8. Use of services offered by the telephone exchange when using the * and # keys

TIG telephones work with any automatic telephone exchange via intrinsic separation assemblies ZSD4, ZSI4, LPI-T, ZSI4-Z.

  • TIG-D version with additional handset
  • TIG-SD version with visual alarm and additional handset
  • TIG-*/CB versions without keypad
